Truly it has the whole world in its hand, suffocating, choking and bringing fear to each and every individual without considering the Class, Race and Color. It has made and reduced all human beings to the same level and the entire world is speaking the same language. No movements for both “THE HAVE “(Rich) and “THE HAVE NOT” ( Poor) human. No more running away for help anywhere ,because there is nowhere to run or fly to.
Covid_19 you are so powerful, you have trimmed the sharp invisible horns of the leaders in the entire planet and changed peoples way of thinking.

You have saved the life of the weaker animals, dogs, snakes , bat and birds no one is killing or eating them now like before.

You have made the greedy , dictators and inhuman leaders to start realizing that all humans are equal in the presence of calamity and everyone is entitled to a better life and health care.

Your powerful strength has brought quick and positive respond of utilization of taxes to many countries. Structures are being built as quick as possible and hospital facilities being improved and monitored with much care now.

How mighty is your power to limit and halt the greedy leaders, rich who always flee their countries for treatments or protection during disaster, leaving behind the misfortune citizens. You’ve proved them wrong that their long legs and invisible wings can be trimmed.

MY TAKE ON BBI(Kenya), MY OPINED AND MY OWN DEFINITIONS, MESSAGE IS HOME

Constitution is a country, organisation or institute, institutionalised guidelines and rules made to protect the environment of it’s formation and people. It’s a long-term, if so a permanent marking-schemes for both good and bad conducts of the people within a given environment and geographical zone .

Therefore constitutional amendments and reforms are not passed based on it’s immediate effectiveness to the pending problems or occurring nature respond in the country, but are amended to possibly prevent,guide and stop the possible reoccurring of the same problems and to act as long-term “marking schemes” of the good conducts and misconduct ways of running the country with it’s dwellers.

It’s not of sound mind for leaders with parallel opine or opposed to the reform, amendments or formations of new Constitution to weigh and debate it’s possible importance and benefits without clear posit of opposing it and in the basis of current natural respond(Mother Earth) such Covid,but it will be of sagacious and prudent to debate and opposed the Bill with possible solutions which are in favor of the people and it’s Suburbia.

A strong Constitution with provisions to cater for the emergencies and based on Controlled Processing of ” IF, SUPPOSEDLY and WHAT IF” not just an Automatic Processing, in order to avoid all the politics based critics in future on how to go about the disasters and at the same time continue with business as usual in the country.

Natural disasters and respond to Mother Earth is unpredictable and doesn’t fully depend on whether the Constitution is reformed or not.The natural calamities strikes are beyond the minor jotted rules on documents,or the type of existing or reforms of Constitution in the country.
Leaders should come to their best senses and focus more in coming up with possible Bills/Solutions that would and can bring positive changes, and strengthening our Constitution once and for all, and not allowing their personal, constituencies, counties and partisans political difference and grievance to block their minds and channels of both Automatic and Controlled thinking abilities.

Hence, the ideas of some leaders saying it’s not the right time to reform the future guide(Constitution) due to Covid-19 or any other disaster is just politics which should not be given latitude to peddle and dwell in the minds of sound minded citizens.

Disasters management is not a constitutional amendments or reform, but a management and strategical teams potion and a cup of tea, to ensure that the tea is not only served, but it’s also prepared well and free of any harm to the consumers .

Weakness in some areas of our Constitution ,Selfishness,Corruption and Political difference amongst majority of our leaders, it’s just but one loopholes why we are faced with a lot of challenges in various institution’s sectors in thiscountry ; Health sector, education, security etc, which when not looked at, we will still have the same cry every now and then, regardless whom will be the next President or ruling party.

Saba Saba or Seven Seven (7/7/ Yearly) ,is a world known and honoured day differently in the entire Earth,and its also the 188th day of the year and 189th in leap year according to Gregorian Calendar.And is the day we as the OKOMO’s,K’ODOYO’s , THE GIONGA’s Family and Rusinga Island Community, waved the final goodbye to our Patriarch Maurice Okomo. My beloved father celebrated his last stage of life on 6/7/2019 and died on 7/7/2019, basically 177 days to the end of a year.

Grief and Angelversary

Griefs is painful and an individual definitions to this word, defines the feelings and how he/she deal with it yearly. And if you asked for my definitions, I will simply say grief is a continuous and lasting pain, resulting from each reminisced day with your lost one. The first Christmas day , birthday , wedding anniversary and then the Angelversary after your person dies ,will always be encountered with pain and grief and all this reminds us of what we have lost.

Since I lost my father last year, a lot has changed , I have came to learn the meaning and importance of being fatherless, the important role of father figure in the family.And most of the times I found myself cornered and surrounded with dilemmas in making the final decisions, maybe because of fear to make mistakes or because of his absence. He was my daily consultant, advisor and motivator . It is not an easy life to live knowing that you will be living a fatherless life forever,and to the words of –Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. “The young man knows the rules, but the old man knows the exceptions.” these has always been my state since he left.

Maurice Okomo a.k.a Owadga Auma ( brother to Auma) was a loving and caring dad,he never hold grudges with anyone,but he had one of his character that most of us would found a bit challenging to fit in, which lead to his nickname OLERA ,literally translate to “The hygiene man” . Living clean and looking clean was dads one of the priorities, I remember when we were staying in Mombasa , every night before he retired to bed, he will ironed his clothes for the next day, tidy up the house while the rest of us are sleeping, including his love love (mummy). And if women were to fall for men dressing style, my dad would have become rich in women and not to dispute his handsomeness hahaha .

Reminisce from his last moments

Before his last breath ,while still determined, full with strong faith and hopes , as Mzee (Dad) was fighting for his life in Nairobi Hospitals, commuting from my cousins house ,Mary Sila ( May the good God continue to take care of you (Mama Brenda ) and continue having that heart of generosity and may he do the same to Lencer (Mama Trevars) ,Brenda) and my extended families for your support during and also after Dads life. Long story short before Dad died, I remember my Sister and Mum making fun of Dads sudden and extreme appetite to Roasted Chicken, you could not visit him to the hospital without carrying roasted chicken and Chapati,or else your visit wont make any different or you will be forced to grab some from the back street vendors. I miss you Dad………May your good God have mercy on you with your brother Samuel offer a special place for both you with Grandma,grandpa and my late cousins and Aunties.

Message To The Readers

Never in your life should you disrespect your parents, whether they are changing or adding value to your life directly or indirectly. Living the life of ” how I wish and I wish I knew” is not good. Love your parents while they are still a live and even after their last celebration in this world.

I don’t regret, but I still wish he had more days with us .
